The path to becoming a composer for film scores is not standard by any means, and Nate has had an interesting journey. His early days were spent touring nationally with his band Wendy Darling, whose success opened doors in the world of film and television. When the road grew weary he decided to try his hand at composing. His first feature film score accompanied the critically acclaimed, Sundance and Berlin winning 'The Diary Of A Teenage Girl.’ He followed with two Academy nominated films - 'Can You Ever Forgive Me' and 'A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood,’ the latter earning him a Grammy nomination and a BMI Award. Upcoming projects include the highly anticipated ‘Nightbitch,’ starring Amy Adams, and ‘Turn Me On,’ with Bel Powely.
